Organizing your personal information using a notebook just won't cut it anymore. The pen and paper are things of the past. It's always easier to type on your PC and printing what you need. AZZ Cardfile is designed to be your little notebook where you can organize your addresses, phone numbers, and any other notes you'd normally scribble on a piece of paper.

You can have this program up and running in a few minutes. The installation kit is almost 5 Mb large and it features a standard wizard. You will only need to specify an installation path, a language and if you want a desktop shortcut or not.

At a first glance, the interface doesn't look like much. It's design seems to be a bit old, but looking good was not what the program was made for. There's quite a number of buttons on the top toolbars, but nothing wouldn't be familiar with. Most of them are for text formatting, opening, saving or printing files. You can customize what toolbars and buttons you wish to have available with a few clicks on some check boxes from the options panel.

Using AZZ Cardfile is straight forward. By default, the main part of the interface is divided in three areas. On the left side you can create new cards and organize them into groups. You can either create them via buttons from the toolbar or by right clicking on the cards list. The middle part of the main window is where you can type your information. It's a standard text editor where you can type and edit your text, add images, bars, dates and so on.

Basic text editing options like format, size and others can be found one of the toolbars. If you want some additional settings, the right side of the main window features a task panel. Here you can switch between different sets of options like an advanced search, styles and formatting or adding icons to your cards in order to spot certain ones more easily.

A project can be saved using the program's own compressed or uncompressed .azz format or you can type in any other format you want. But it's better and safer if you just save them as a .azz. There's a lot more features under AZZ Cardfile's hood like merging data files, set bookmarks, automatic backups, and many more which make this software really flexible.

pro:
AZZ Cardfile is as easy to use as any other text editor and it brings some useful features to the table.

con:
A scheduling feature would have made the program even more useful.

AZZ Cardfile let's you organize your contacts, and any other notes with at least the same ease and efficiency as a real life notebook.
